Making Electric Motorcycles by Faculty of Engineering Students of Universitas Negeri Padang Funded by PT. PLN (Persero)
PT. PLN Persero provides funding for Engineering Faculty students by winning again at the National Level at the PLN Innovation & Competition in Electricity (ICE) event organized by PT PLN (Persero), information on this funding was obtained Thursday / 24 June 2021.
MEY TEAM consisting of Nailul Hidayat (S1 Mechanical Engineering-Class of 2019), Yoan Alfarezi Indra (S1 of Mechanical Engineering Education- Class of 2020), Diki Anggara (S1 of Mechanical Engineering-Class of 2020), Muhammad Robby (S1 of Mechanical Engineering- Class of 2020) and Fahrezi Amran (S1 Electrical Engineering Education – Class of 2018) under the guidance of Rahmat Azis Nabawi, S. Pd. M. Pd. T made the design of an electric motor with the Supermoto type successfully passed to the big 3 teams funded by PT PLN (Persero) for the manufacture of prototypes. After making the prototype of the electric motor, it will be contested again to determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Previously there were 4 teams from the Faculty of Engineering who sent proposals, 3 teams passed the top 15 for the selection of design presentations, namely the MEY TEAM, BU-Trick TEAM consisting of Yoga Rizki Ananda (S1 Mechanical Engineering-Force 2020), Rahmawanda Miswar (S1 Mechanical Engineering- Class of 2020), Hatami Rozaki Yudha (Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering-Class of 2020) and Rafki Irianto (S1 of Mechanical Engineering-Class of 2020) and Rangga Putra (S1 of Mechanical Engineering-Class of 2020) under the guidance of Rahmat Azis Nabawi, S. Pd. M. Pd. T for the Electric Bike category with a bamboo frame electric bicycle design concept and the E-SIB TEAM consisting of Aprizal Saputra (S1 Mechanical Engineering-Class 2018), Detty Rahmadhani (S1 Physics-Class 2018), Salmat (S1 Mechanical Engineering-Class 2018), Muhammad Akhbar (S1 Mechanical Engineering – Class of 2018), and Roza Anggraini (Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Education – Class of 2019) under the guidance of Febri Prasetya S.Pd., M.Pd.T in the electric bicycle category with the MTB type electric bicycle design concept.
The leadership and the entire academic community of the Faculty of Engineering expressed their appreciation and congratulations to MEY TEAM who succeeded in bringing the name of the Faculty of Engineering UNP to the National level. MEY TEAM has high hopes for the UNP academic community for their prayers and support in order to get the best results later in the big 3 competition, said team supervisor Rahmat Azis Nabawi, S. Pd.
